Retained as a Construction Manager by the owners of this private golf course located on the grounds of the former Fort Devens in Massachusetts, Torphy was introduced to the project at an early stage in the design process. The ability of the CM to be able to provide cost and construction advice when the design and construct process is beginning typically results in substantial savings for the project over the long term. The end result was a project that was constructed within a budget, in an aggressive time frame, and which met or exceeded the expectations of the club management and the membership.
