TCD Construction rose to the challenge of renovating an existing shopping plaza while three of the anchor tenants remained open and operational. Marshalls/Home Goods, AC Moore and Bed Bath & Beyond remained open to their clients while extensive renovations were undertaken on their facades with minimal impact to the tenant.
TCD appreciated the trust afforded the company by Market Basket to construct their fast track new supermarket within the plaza. Due to site constraints, Market Basket had decided to close the existing, very busy store (No. 6 in the chain – one of the original Demoulas stores) and build the new facility in its place as quickly as possible. TCD completed the project on schedule – 7 months from permit to opening – and under budget.
